2012 Giro Road Shoes

We have been waiting for a while for this well anticipated shoe range. In typical Giro style they have released a near perfect line up.

Headlining is the Prolight SLX redefining fit, feel and power-to-weight performance in a lightweight shoe that shapes to your foot like a second skin.

The Prolight features a Easton EC90slx sole with an incredibly low stack height at only 6.5mm thick. The high-modulus Easton® EC90 SLX outsole is exceptionally thin and light yet provides stiffness for maximum power transfer.

Titanium hardware reduces weight even further. If you’re looking for the lightest pro-level shoe without compromise; this is it. Weight 205gram’s (size 42)

The Factor delivers ultimate power transfer with all-day comfort needed for long rides and maximum effort.

The Factor add’s a buckle at the expense of weight (255grams) but adds slightly better heel cup retention. Teijin microfiber is added to the upper which is shaped to your foot with a luxurious level of precision.

The same low stack height as Prolight at 6.5mm and just as stiff with the Eason EC90 unidirectional carbon sole.

Both shoes utilize an ultralight EVA footbed plus a SuperNatural Fit Kit footbed with adjustable arch support so you can customize the fit to match your needs.

SuperNatural Fit Kit allows you to tune the level of arch support enhancing efficiency and comfort.
