How to setup the Tacx Fortius

We’ve seen many places that tell you how to setup the Tacx Fortius on your computer – what we wanted to show you was our idea on setting up the physical environment as many people have problems with the unit not working correctly because of cable damage.

As you can see the motor is mounted on a board that is bolted to the frame. This gets the motor unit off the floor and less susceptible to getting stood on or kicked.

We’ve wrapped the cables around the frame to keep them safe.

The cable from the bike to the motor unit is put in a small flexible cable duct – keeping it safe from damage.
